Europe Ring of Worship – 7th to 9th July 2017

July 2017 will see a major prayer and worship initiative take place around the continent of Europe. Churches in Crete are invited to be part of it.

The vision for the project is of many teams, all worshipping at the same time, all at different locations around the boundaries of the continent of Europe.  It will take place over three days from 7th to 9th July to surround Europe with worship and prayer, and see what God says to us and how He uses us.

The Ring of Worship has teams established around the outer perimeter of Europe. Besides Crete, the southernmost part of Europe, the Ring takes in Iceland, Ireland, Portugal, the U.K, Norway, Italy, Germany, Malta, Moscow, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Armenia, Georgia and the Ural Mountains.

There will be a period of co-ordinated prayer each day, taking account of five different time zones so that we will all be meeting at the same time.  This meeting will follow a pre-arranged programme so that we will be praying the same thing.  At other times over the three days each team will make its own local arrangements for prayer and worship.

Anamnisi Chania Christian Coffee Shop will host the team in Crete and it will be led by Ivan and Hazel Stewart, UK based missionaries with World Horizons who are closely involved with the initiative. (Details of how to get to Anamnisi Chania can be found elsewhere on this website)

The Cretan team will meet in Anamnisi Chania each day between 5.00pm and 7.00pm for the time of co-ordinated worship and at other times to be announced on this web site. Christians from churches in Crete and visitors to the island are welcome to join us as together we lift up the name of Jesus over Europe.
